Summary

Buxted Construction are offering a Level 2 Groundwork Apprenticeship, you will learn skills required for the infrastructure on new build development sites over the course of 18-months. Buxted actively looks to promote, and this is a genuine opportunity for career development. Several of our foreman and machine operators started as apprentices.

Monday to Friday - 07:45 to 16:45 Saturday 08:00 - 13:00.

Duration: 1 Year 6 Months

Work

As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you'll do at work

  • Slab laying
  • Kerb laying
  • Digging foundations
  • Laying drainage
  • General labour work to help keep the site tidy and organised
  • Brickwork
  • Levelling and setting out

Where you'll work

Training

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Essential qualifications

GCSE in:
