An exciting apprenticeship opportunity in electrical installation with a well-established company that are based in Cannock with travel nationwide. The end goal will be to become a fully qualified electrician and gain your gold card. You will be enrolled onto a Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation apprenticeship alongside working on site.
Training course: Installation and maintenance electrician (level 3)
Hours
Monday - Friday, shifts to be confirmed. May include occasional weekend work. Minimum 30 hours/week.

Work
As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you'll do at work
- Installs, repairs, or replaces generators and industrial storage batteries
- Do preventative maintenance and testing of electrical systems (including power distribution equipment)
- Works on electrical failures and replaces components wherever production time is often affected
- Corrects connections and wiring on equipment controls wherever incorrect applications may cause harm and dangerous conditions
- Conducts preventive and maintenance programs and keeps maintenance records
- Complies with standards and procedures of industry, safety manual, and abide by safety rules
