Summary

Join our small furniture making team to help craft custom wooden furniture.

Tasks include wood machining, assembling, joinery, finishing and organisation of the workshop.

Some woodworking experience is a plus.

Ideal for someone hands-on, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a creative workshop environment.

Annual wage: £16,640 a year

Work

As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you'll do at work

Each week will be varied as we are constantly working on
new designs for our clients. The week will contain:

  • Preparing and machining components
  • Helping assemble projects
  • Working with experienced makers
  • Sanding and preparation for finishing.
  • Finishing
  • Maintaining Tools
  • Organising the Workshop

Where you'll work

Training

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Basic hand tools are always a good thing to have. We also lift and deliver heavy items to a variety of sites, mainly in the London area.
