As an Apprentice bricklayer you will assist qualified bricklayers while learning to construct and repair walls. The role will require you to be able to mix mortar, lay bricks and blocks, maintain tools, adhere to safety procedures and develop practical skills through hands on training becoming a qualified tradesperson.

Monday through to Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm.

Work
As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

- Preparation of various materials

- Assist and support the qualified bricklayers, who will mentor you
Where you'll work
Training
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Learn to maintain a clean and safe working environment for yourself and others. Learn to construct a wide verity of work which will include - cavity wall construction, dentil detail, corbel detail, arch detail, screen walling and chimney construction etc.
