The candidate will be happy to work outdoors in all weathers. You will assist and learn to produce Topographical Surveys from start to finish with one of our qualified surveyors. We work around the country so you would be expected to stay away for some projects.

Work
As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you'll do at work
The apprentice will initially be:
- Observing and helping one of our senior surveyors
- Tasks would include helping move equipment
- Undertaking simple surveying activities and plenty of walking!

For the full apprenticeship, candidates will complete:
- Level 3 Civil Engineering Technician Apprenticeship Standard
- Level 2 Award in Functional Skills Mathematics
- Level 2 Award in Functional Skills English
- End Point Assessment (EPA) - leading to EngTech qualification with the ICE for successful candidates
For the End Point Assessment (EPA) apprentices will undertake a technical project report and discussion, and a professional discussion underpinned by the portfolio.

About this company
Our business has been established since 2018. We provide measured survey data in both Topographical and Building formats. We are also utilising GPR Surveys and Drone Surveys.
Our days fluctuate between being out on site and processing our data in the office. All projects are different and take us around the country.
We are a team of 5 surveyors all of which started as trainees at college through the apprenticeship scheme.
