Summary

A Level 2 Plastering Apprenticeship gives learners the practical skills and knowledge needed to become competent plasterers. Apprentices work on real sites while training, learning how to prepare walls and ceilings, apply plaster, fix plasterboard, and create smooth, high‑quality finishes for decoration.

Work

As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

As an apprentice, you’ll be part of a real working team, gaining hands‑on experience every day. You’ll build valuable new skills, learn the trade from seasoned professionals, and grow your confidence as you take on more responsibility in the role.

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

  • Site Manager / Project Manager – with further training and experience
  • Estimator or Surveying Assistant – moving into planning, pricing, or inspection roles
