This apprenticeship will give you the knowledge skills and behaviours required to work as a Painter and Decorator and will include the following:
Painter & Decorator apprentices attend York College on block release, which is for 2 weeks at a time (14 weeks over the academic year) and work for their employer for the rest of the time. If required, Functional Skills are delivered as a separate block release.
GCSE in:
Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. They can adjust the apprenticeship to reflect what you already know.
The role involves working on different sites and may include working using ladders and working at height.
Applicants should be comfortable with physical work and working as part of a team.
Occasional Saturday work may be required.
