Summary

We're looking for an Apprentice Quantity Surveyor to join ILIOS, a joint venture between Kier and NUVIA. As a construction partner on the STEP Fusion programme, one of the UK's most ambitious infrastructure and clean energy projects. We offer the opportunity to build foundations and progress onto a Quantity Surveying degree programme.

Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm.
40.0 hours a week

Work

As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you'll do at work

We are now recruiting our first cohort of apprentices, offering an opportunity to start a career in quantity surveying at the beginning of a world-leading programme that is shaping the future of clean energy and advanced construction. This apprenticeship forms part of ILIOS' longer-term commitment to developing skills, capability and future project leaders to support the delivery of STEP and similar programmes over time.

  • Working across commercial and pre-construction departments
  • Assisting the team with value and risk management
  • Supporting the commercial team with cost control, analysis, and estimates
  • Attending university during pre-determined block weeks to attend lectures and meet other students on your course

Training

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

  • Other Level 3 BTEC qualifications may also be considered
