We are looking for hard working, enthusiastic candidates to join our team as an apprentice carpenter. We will support you through NVQ 2 & 3 stages of site carpentry. You will be work within a dedicated team of tradespeople and will have a dedicated trades mentor to help you through your training.
Hours Monday - Thursday,8.00am - 4.30pm and Friday, 8.00am - 3.30pm 39.0 hours a week

Work
As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you'll do at work
Your working week will see you working alongside your trades mentor in numerous different situations and environments. Whilst our primary focus is to successfully guide you through your training as an apprentice site carpenter, as we are a general builder you will be exposed to a varied life on our sites.
We will ensure that you are well supervised and able to work safely at all times. You will be provided with a professional uniform and personal protective equipment.
Your progress throughout your apprenticeship will be monitored by our construction director who will remain in contact with your college and site assessors.

Holidays- 21 days plus public holidays per year
Uniform- a company uniform will be provided
Tools- the company will provide a basic tool kit and will help with additional equipment where necessary.
Environment- Construction industry involves working outdoors or in unheated buildings during adverse conditions.
Manual labour can be strenuous, it involves lifting heavy objects safely, cleaning up and generally mucking in to get jobs completed.
