A Level 2 Flat Roofing apprenticeship trains apprentices to become Waterproof Membranes Installers, specialising in making flat roofs watertight using modern membrane systems and developing the practical skills needed to work confidently on real construction projects.
Hours Monday - Friday. Shifts to be discussed with the employer. 30.0 hours a week

Work
As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you'll do at work
Core responsibilities include:
Install, maintain, and repair flat roofing systems
Preparing surfaces
Measuring and cutting materials
Installing waterproofing systems
Repairing leaks / damaged sections
Ensuring drainage is effective, including fitting outlets

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
