Summary
We are seeking a motivated Trainee Property Maintenance Operative Level 2 Apprentice to join our hotel maintenance team. You will support the maintenance and upkeep of the hotel, ensuring high standards are maintained across the hotel. The role will involve working alongside experienced maintenance staff to gain hands-on experience.

Work
As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you'll do at work
This position operates on a shift basis, including evenings and weekends, to support the operational needs of the hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with routine maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep of hotel facilities and equipment.
Support basic plumbing, decorating, carpentry, painting, and electrical maintenance tasks under supervision.
Carry out preventative maintenance checks to ensure facilities remain safe and operational.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from hotel departments and guests.
Learn how to identify faults and report maintenance issues appropriately.
Support room refurbishment and repair works as required.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures at all times.
Work collaboratively with the wider hotel operations team to ensure excellent guest experience standards are maintained.
Attend and actively participate in apprenticeship training sessions and complete all coursework and assessments required as part of the Level 2 apprenticeship programme.
