Summary
Manners has employed apprentices from its earliest days, with many of our Senior Managers starting in this role. As an apprentice, you’ll be working in a supportive multi-disciplinary team, gaining hands-on experience and invaluable skills supporting these fast paced and reactive divisions.
Training course: Construction design and build technician (level 4)
Hours Monday - Thursday, 7.30am - 4.30pm and Friday, 7.30am - 3.30pm. 39.0 hours a week
Possible start date: Monday 03 August 2026

Work
As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you'll do at work
Supporting the busy and fast paced divisions of Fire Doors or Small Works
Liaising with office and site staff to source necessary data
Maintaining accurate records and uploading details to identified systems, including spreadsheets and portals
Liaising and building relations with key stakeholders via telephone and email communications
Additional admin based duties

Training
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
