Work under the guidance of an experienced supervisor/carpenter, carrying out all aspects of carpentry on new-build sites. Duties include interpreting drawings, measuring materials, installing timber fixtures, frames, trusses, flooring, supports, kitchens/bathrooms, attending college training, and following H&S procedures.
Hours Monday to Friday 7.45am to 4.30pm with 2 x 30-minute unpaid breaks. 38.75 hours a week

Work
As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

Shaping, cutting and installing finished materials including timber
Reading drawings to carry out their own work
Train to use necessary tools on site in accordance with health and safety guidelines
