The successful candidate will work under a qualified joiner, gaining practical and theoretical training to complete a Level 2 Joinery Apprenticeship. They will support inspections and remedial work on council homes, carrying out reactive and planned tasks across the South Kesteven District Council area.

Work
As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you'll do at work
Assist in the inspection, diagnosis of faults and repairs
Supervised duties will include but not limited to - Ironmongery, glazing, kitchens, internal doors & fencing
Use council IT systems to manage and maintain repairs details
Attend Grantham College to successfully complete a recognised qualification

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
