The Apprentice will become both technically competent, as well as learning effective communication with customers, deliver appropriate service, and eventually being able to recognise and exploit potential sales opportunities.

As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Refrigeration air conditioning and heat pump engineering technician (level 3)
The Level 3 Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heat Pump (RACHP) Engineering Technician Apprenticeship Standard is run over 36 months. Apprentices must also achieve a Level 2 certificate in F Gas and ODS regulation category 1 to complete the course.

Reality Check:
A full driving licence would be an advantage but not essential in their first year of training. However, you will be required to have obtained a full driving licence by year three of your apprenticeship.
