Work

As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you'll do at work

As a Multi Trade Apprentice, you’ll play an important part in helping us look afterour homes so our customers can live in safe, well‑maintained properties they’reproud of.

You’ll be contractually based from either our Portsmouth or Basingstoke office,depending on vacancy, and will also attend Farnborough College of Technology(Aldershot Campus) as part of your apprenticeship.

About the role:

This is a hands‑on, practical apprenticeship where you’ll learn by doing,supported by experienced colleagues who genuinely want you to succeed.

You’ll:

  • Learn a range of core trade skills through on‑the‑job experienceand college‑based learning
  • Work alongside skilled Property Maintenance Operatives who willcoach, guide and support you
  • Put your college learning into practice in real homes, with realcustomers
  • Develop safe working habits, technical skills and confidence overthe course of the programme

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Essential qualifications

GCSE in:

  • English & Maths (grade 1 and above)
