The Trainee Technician - Traffic and Transport role supports the delivery of highway and transport projects, including feasibility and preliminary design drawings, report writing, data analysis and site inspections.

Monday to Friday, with working hours typically between 09:00 – 17:00 (7.5 hours per day, excluding lunch). A minimum 30-minute lunch break is taken between 12:00 – 14:00. Working hours are flexible.

Once you have completed your apprenticeship, you will have the chance to work as a qualified civil engineering technician, which in turn can lead on to a Project/Principal Technician role. Chartership (EngTech, MICE) through the Institution of Civil Engineering will also be encouraged.
