Do you have the drive to learn and develop a career as an estates officer?
We are excited to offer the building services engineer technician apprenticeship level 4. You will learn how to lead on high-quality technical work and ensure engineering compliance and safety is at the heart of everything we do.
Training course: Building services engineering senior technician (level 4)
Hours Mainly Monday to Friday, 08.30 - 16.30, but will be required to cover weekends, evenings and night shifts on a rota system. 37.5 hours a week

Work
As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you'll do at work
Learn to project manage minor engineering works
Learn about design drawings, specifications and schedules
Support colleagues, providing technical advice and training relating to engineering
Undertake site audits and reviews to monitor compliance and develop action plans
Communicate with staff and suppliers in relation to new projects, technologies etc.
Where you'll work
Training
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Training will be split between attendance at London South Bank University, Southwark Campus, self directed study and practical experience in the workplace.

Essential qualifications
GCSE in:
Maths and English + 3 others (grade A*- C or 4-9)
Maths, Physics or Chemistry + one other (grade EEE)

After this apprenticeship
On completion of the apprenticship the candidate will have the opportunity to complete the level 6 building services engineer apprenticeship
Once this has been completed they would be able to move into a senior engineer post or may wish to consider project management, risk management or department management roles
