As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you'll do at work
Assist with a variety of carpentry and landscaping tasks including measuring, cutting, and installing materials, as well as site preparation and general labouring. You’ll work alongside experienced carpenters on projects such as fencing, decking, and structures, learning practical skills on-site. Need a driver's licence and vehicle to travel to and from jobs This role involves working outdoors in all weather conditions and can be physically demanding, including lifting and carrying materials. You will be working on construction sites, so a good level of fitness, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn are essential. Early starts and travel to different job locations may also be required.
