Summary

This is a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic apprentice to gain hands-on experience supporting the installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical systems associated with GeoPura’s hydrogen-powered energy solutions.

Annual wage: £15,600 to £24,784.50 a year

Training course: Installation and maintenance electrician (level 3)

Hours
Monday to Friday (hours may vary depending on site requirements). Role may involve travel to various project sites across the UK. Working away from home will be required. Flexibility around working hours depending on project needs.

Work

As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you'll do at work

You will develop practical skills across a range of electrical and engineering disciplines while contributing to innovative, zero-emission power projects across multiple industries.

  • Assist with installation and maintenance of electrical systems within Hydrogen Power Units (HPUs)
  • Support cabling, containment systems, and electrical assembly
  • Learn to work with control circuits and automation systems
  • Assist with fault finding and diagnostics
  • Support electrical testing and inspection in line with BS7671 standards
  • Work alongside engineers on-site across a variety of projects (construction, events, infrastructure, etc.)
  • Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and documentation

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

GCSE in:
