Part of the Optima Group, Optima Installations Ltd is an aluminium framework, glass, and joinery contractor for commercial fit-outs within the UK. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to achieve an NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Interior Systems which will include college attendance of varying blocks at the National Construction College.
Training course: Interior systems installer (level 2)
Hours Monday- Friday, 7.00am - 4.30pm. 47.5 hours a week

Work
As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you'll do at work
Read and understand plan drawings as to set out location of partitions
Read and understand detailed drawings as to build what is required
Install structures or fixtures, such as aluminium framework, timber framework using carpenters hand or power tools
Shape/cut material to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, power saws
Measure and mark cutting lines on materials
Install various sizes/specifications of glass to partition system
Clean, protect and maintain protection to the glass
Where you'll work
Training
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Interior Systems Installer Level 2 Apprenticship Standard:
NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Interior Systems including Functional Skills (if required), which will include college attendance of varying blocks (2, 3, and 4 weeks) at the National Construction College. Travel, accommodation and expenses for college will be covered
On completion you will be able to apply for the Skilled Worker CSCS card.

A permanent position within team of highly skilled operatives, ranging from Site Managers, Site Supervisors to Partition Installers & Carpenters. Optional further academic training will be considered for anyone wishing to progress into one of the above roles.
