Work
As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you'll do at work
Assist with general maintenance across multiple residential properties and two nightlife venues, including repairs, basic DIY and preventative upkeep.
Identify faults, support quick fixes, coordinate with contractors.
Help ensure all buildings are safe, functional and well-maintained.

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Your training plan
The completion of this Level 2 Property Maintenance Operative Apprenticeship Standard will require monthly training visits from a qualified IPS Trainer to develop the apprentice’s skills and, in addition to this, some training based at our Rochester centre to progress the build of the portfolio and prepare for End Point Assessment. Throughout the process, apprentices will undergo regular testing of underpinning knowledge through assessment.
