Summary

EN:Able Futures, a multi-award-winning Apprenticeship employer, are delighted to partner with Alan Wood and Partners to look for an Apprentice Civil Engineering Technician in the Huntington area of York. This role will suit somebody who is interested in becoming a Civil Engineer, as well as somebody who is keen to use CAD.

Work

As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you'll do at work

• Producing CAD drawings
• Preparing simple calculations
• Supporting the administration of projects
• Ensuring outputs meet the required standards
• Meeting agreed deadlines
• Maintaining drawing register
• Working as a member of a team
• Contributing to providing solutions to problems
• Working both in an office environment and on-site visits
