Summary
We have vacancies for enthusiastic, hardworking apprentice electricians for our contracts across the east midlands & UK wide, you will be training to become a JIB Gold Card Electrician working on projects including Hospitals, Warehouses, Schools, Stadiums and many more!
Training course: Installation and maintenance electrician (level 3)
Hours Monday - Friday, between 7.30am - 4.00pm, plus overtime when applicable. 37.5 hours a week
Possible start date: Monday 07 September 2026

Work
As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you'll do at work
Full electrical experience at Urenco Power station
Learning on the job while working closely with experienced electricians
Testing electrical systems
Fault-finding
Where you'll work
Training
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Apprenticeship training will be provided by JTL with full onsite support from experienced electricians
Following the completion of the apprenticeship, the successful candidate will receive an Installation Electrician and Maintenance Electrician level 3 qualification
You will become a certified Gold Card JIB Electrician upon successful completion of your apprenticeship

Other requirements
Any applicants under the age of 19 must hold, at minimum, Grade C or above in maths, English and one other subject.
Travel is a core part of this role, and you may be required to travel up to 1 1/2 hours each way to site or board overnight depending on distance.
