Training course: Building services engineer (level 6)
Hours Monday - Friday - 37.5 hours which includes day release. Times to be confirmed. 37.5 hours a week

Work
As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you'll do at work
Job roles and responsibilities:
Take part in all the production aspects of the projects in the office
Produce draft design drawings for projects
Drawing up plans using computer-aided design and building information modelling software
Carry out design calculations for checking and approval
Compile tender packages including drawings and specifications
Ensure Safety, Health and Environment procedures are implemented
Site visits and surveys
General office duties
Where you'll work
Training
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

At the end of the Apprenticeship, you will gain a Building Services Design Engineer (degree), Level: 6. This will be undertaken at London Southbank University as a day release.

After this apprenticeship
At the end of the Apprenticeship, you will have attained a degree qualification with the option to gain further accreditation from industry recognised professional engineering associations.
