Summary
The Carpentry Foundation Apprentice will gain practical skills in carpentry, property repairs, and retrofit projects. This short-term pathway is ideal for those seeking entry into the trade or a stepping stone to further qualifications.
Training course: Onsite trades foundation apprenticeship (level 2)
Hours Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, shifts, may work evenings and weekends. 40.0 hours a week

Work
As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you'll do at work
Assist in fitting doors, skirting boards, and kitchen units.
Support void repairs and minor plastering/plumbing.
Prepare homes for re-letting and retrofit projects.
Collaborate with colleagues and tenants.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Where you'll work
Training
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
