Hours Monday to Thursday - 08:30 - 16:30. Friday 08:30 - 15:30. 39.0 hours a week

Work
As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you'll do at work
Setting out, measuring and machining timber
Assembling windows, doors, screens and cabinetry
Reading and understanding technical drawings
Using woodworking hand tools and machinery safely
Fitting ironmongery prior to finishing
Glazing and finishing work
Maintaining workshop organisation and safe working practices
Where you'll work
Training
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Essential qualifications
GCSE in:
English (grade 4 or higher)
Maths (grade 4 or higher)
