NORTH EAST FENCING LTD - Fencing Installer Apprentice

Summary

We are looking to recruit an apprentice fencing installer, within our business, to support in the installation of boundaries to residential and commercial properties within the Northumberland area.

Annual wage: £15,600 a year

Training course: Fencing installer (level 2)

Hours
Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm, with one hour lunch per day.
37.5 hours a week

Possible start date: Monday 04 May 2026

Duration: 1 Year 6 Months

Work

As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you'll do at work

As part of this apprenticeship programme, you will:

  • Learn to understand specifications and plans
  • Prepare sites and select relevant materials to carry out installation
  • Carry out maintenance or repairs to meet the relevant contract requirements
  • Use a wide variety of materials,tools and machinery
  • Identify and resolve problems prior to, during and after installation
  • Seek advice when required
  • Understand why and how to use correct PPE for all tasks
  • Adhere to risk and COSHH assessments,method statements and following instructions provided by mentor
  • Learn about consideration to the environment including recycling and waste management

Training

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
