Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic apprentice to join our busy team.

Work

As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you'll do at work

Assist in Installations:

  • Collaborate with skilled plumbers to install plumbing systems, fixtures, and appliances in residential and commercial settings

Learn Troubleshooting Techniques:

  • Observe and participate in diagnosing plumbing issues, gaining experience in identifying and fixing problems

Material Handling:

  • Gather and prepare tools and materials needed for each job, ensuring everything is organised and readily available

Pipework:

  • Help with the installation and repair of pipes and fittings, following blueprints and building codes to ensure compliance

Safety Practices:

  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, using personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensuring a safe working environment

Maintenance Tasks:

  • Assist in routine maintenance of plumbing systems, including cleaning drains and checking for leaks

Training Participation:

  • Attend training sessions and workshops to learn about plumbing techniques, tools, and safety measures

Documentation:

  • Support the documentation of work completed, including reporting issues and maintaining records of materials used

Team Collaboration:

  • Work as part of a team, communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure efficient job completion

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
