Summary

Buxton & McNulty can offer a 4-year apprenticeship in the following disciplines; plumbing, pipefitting and welding. We are a commercial plumbers and pipefitters, and work is carried out on building sites. Work will entail working alongside a qualified plumber/pipefitter and learning your chosen trade.

Annual wage: £16,685.50 a year

Work

As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you'll do at work

  • Learning the plumbing/pipefitting trade including threading and grooving pipe under supervision
  • Assisting plumber/pipefitters on site
  • Attending college on a regular basis to achieve the qualification

Where you'll work

Training

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Buxton & McNulty Mechanical Services Ltd., became incorporated in April 2005 and was formed to provide Mechanical Services. We specialise in pipework installations covering public health, heating, chilled water, condensate. We offer onsite welding and have a prefabrication shop where pipe can be made to measure and delivered to site.
