Summary
As an Electrical apprentice with OpenView, you will be working to build a career as a qualified electrical contractor within the electrical, fire and security industry. You MUST live in the London Borough of Lambeth to be eligible for this apprenticeship.
Training course: Installation and maintenance electrician (level 3)
Hours Monday to Friday 8am- 6pm (between these times to be agreed with line manager). Some evening and weekend work may be required. 35.0 hours a week

Work
As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you'll do at work
You will be working as an Electrical Apprentice on contracts in and around the London area.
You will:
Ensure that any company tools provided are maintained in good working order
Flexible working hours and demonstrate a willingness to help colleagues and customers
Communicate with customers in a professional manner
Attend college, complete all assignments and pass exams within given timescales
Follow H&S legislation & guidance
Complete appropriate administration and maintain accurate records
Electricians install, maintain and repair electrical systems in industrial, commercial and domestic environments
Where you'll work
Training
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
