Job Title: Accounts Apprentice
Location: Portsmouth
As an Accounts Apprentice at Habens, you will receive comprehensive training and support to develop your skills and knowledge in all aspects of finance and accounting. You will work closely with the finance team to gain hands-on experience in day-to-day financial operations and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assisting with general accounting tasks such as data entry, invoice processing, and bank reconciliations.
2. Supporting the preparation of financial reports and statements.
3. Assisting with credit control and debt collection activities.
4. Liaising with internal stakeholders to resolve any finance-related queries.
5. Supporting the finance team with ad hoc tasks and projects as required.
6. Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
1. A keen interest in pursuing a career in finance or accounting.
2. Strong numerical and analytical skills.
3. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
4. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Proactive and eager to learn.
6. A minimum of GCSEs in Maths and English.
