Summary
Apprentices working in Asset Management support teams assist in delivering a wide range of projects, from field-based surveying and asset inspection, to whole-life-asset-cycle activities.
Training course: Civil engineering technician (level 3)
Hours JBA supports agile working which provides for greater flexibility with the way that we work. The standard working week is Monday to Friday; 8.30am - 5.00pm. 37.5 hours a week

Work
As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you'll do at work
Apprentices based at our Doncaster office will support the Shire Group of IDBs to manage Drainage District assets in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, including 50 pumping stations and 1,500km of Ordinary Watercourses. The roles will involve a combination of office, site and remote working. A requirement of the apprenticeship is that by the 31st August you will need:
• To be over the age of 18 due to insurance purposes
• The right to live and work in the UK and have been ordinarily resident for at least the last three years to qualify for funding
