Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

As a bench joiner you will be trained in the following:

  • Reading drawings and making various windows such as arched and slash
  • Bespoke doors and frames
  • Bespoke staircases
  • Bespoke one-off furniture such as tables, chairs chests of draws
  • Use of CNC machinery
