At Thompson's Refurbishments, we have an exciting opportunity for someone who is practical, eager to learn and wants to build a career in the construction industry.

Hours
Monday - Friday (8.00am - 4.00pm), 30 mins lunch break.
37.5 hours a week

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

  • Assisting with the preparation + laying of bricks, blocks and mortar
  • Learning how to interpret construction drawings and plans
  • Supporting the team with setting out, mixing materials and general site duties
  • Gaining experience on restoration and refurbishment projects, including period properties
  • Following health and safety guidance at all times
  • Learning how to use tools and equiment, safely and effectively
