Summary
This is a full plastering course not just skimming. The apprentice will be learning the following: Mixing techniques, material estimation handling and stick management, defect repair, floating and beading techniques, rendering, base coat application and scratch coats, dry lining, jointing. leveling compounds, screeds and much more.
Hours Monday - Friday, shifts to be confirmed 37.0 hours a week

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

Training

Your training plan
Plasterer Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard:
This Apprenticeship will be split by 80% on the job training and 20% off the job training (learning)
You will work Monday to Friday on site, gaining work based experience
You will then attend practical sessions at college once per month
This will be supported by weekly online theory sessions
You will also be required to log your larning and upload evidence on an online portfolio
