A Bricklaying Apprenticeship is a hands-on training programme that combines paid, on-the-job experience with structured learning to develop the skills needed to become a qualified bricklayer. Perfect for those who enjoy practical work and building things from the ground up.
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Lay bricks, blocks, and stone to build or repair walls, chimneys, and other structures
Mix and apply mortar
Interpret construction drawings and plans
Work safely on construction sites
Produce high-quality finishes using traditional and modern techniques
