Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
To carry out general painting and decorating tasks within domestic and commercial premises.
The successful candidate will gain their learning in domestic, period properties delivering mid to high end interior and exterior decorating services including wallpapering.
Some of the techniques you will learn will include:
Masking and protecting surfaces prior to painting
Preparing surfaces
Applying various paint coverings using brush and roller
Hanging wall coverings
You will be expected to ensure all jobs are left clean and tidy and you will develop your communication skills so you can always deliver excellent customer service to a wide variety of clients

As part of this apprenticeship the employer is dedicated in investing in their apprentices by providing them with up to £2000 worth of kit. Have your own transport or the ability to travel to site location in Upper Heyford , Bicester and College in Milton Keynes.
