Hours Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm, and a day release for College study days. 37.0 hours a week

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Deliver a maintenance service to Connect Housing’s tenants and other customers
Provide an effective and efficient plumbing repairs and replacements service, including all elements of first and second fix
Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all equipment provided for the Planned Projects and Painting Team
Meet tenant’s day to day repairs needs, development, cyclical maintenance and planned maintenance programmes
Operates hand power tools and machinery on site and in the Depot/Store; ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety rules and regulations
Preparation of risk assessments, method statements and construction safety plans to meet health and safety and company policy requirements
