Apprentice Floorlayer

Summary

The successful candidate will start off with basic roles in the flooring trade and work their way up learning how to fit all types of flooring.

Training course: Floorlayer - textile and resilient (level 2)

Hours
Monday - Friday, but may include Saturdays/evening work. The locations will be in Hertfordshire and North London.
40.0 hours a week

Possible start date: Monday 11 August 2025

Duration: 2 Years 6 Months

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

The successful candidate will be working with a Senior Fitter to gain knowledge of prepping and fitting of carpets, LVT and wood floors.

The successful candidate will also need to attend a flooring college in Walthamstow at least 1 day a month every month.

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
