Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Fixing and maintaining plumbing systems
Carrying out basic carpentry and joinery, like repairing doors and windows
Finishing work such as plastering, tiling and laying floors
Concreting and small brickwork jobs
Drainage tasks, including unblocking drains and laying pipework

Training
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

4 days every month will be spent in Derby undertaking practical training relating to the job role with PFP. All training related travel and costs will be covered by the company.
