Summary

KDE Ltd are looking for a motivated Electrical Apprentice to join our team based in the Oldham area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work towards a Level 3 Installation and Maintenance Electrician qualification. You'll work alongside experienced electricians, learning how to install, test, and maintain electrical systems safely and efficiently.

Hours
8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday (some flexibility may be required depending on site location and operational needs).
40.0 hours a week

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

  • Assist with installing, inspecting, testing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
  • Follow health and safety procedures at all times
  • Use tools and equipment safely and responsibly
  • Keep your work area clean and tidy
  • Attend off-the-job training sessions as part of your apprenticeship
  • Work closely with your Electrical Mentor to track progress and meet targets
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, customers, and team members

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Training will be day release style - 4 days in the workplace and 1 day in college. 40 hours per week, including one day per week allocated for college attendance (day release).

GCSE in:

  • English (grade Grade 4/C or above)
  • Maths (grade Grade 4/C or above)
