Building Surveying Technician Apprentice

Summary

We’re seeking candidates with a keen eye for detail, an interest in construction and design, and a desire to work on real-world building projects. You will participate in building surveys, analyse building designs and assess structural integrity and ensure compliance with building regulations and health & safety standards.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

  • Undertake the Building Surveying Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship and any other relevant training in order to provide support to the Property Services Team
  • Assisting with Surveys: Participating in building surveys, gathering data, and creating reports
  • Analysing building designs, assessing structural integrity, and identifying potential issues
  • Project Management: Helping with project planning, cost estimation, and managing schedules
  • Ensuring compliance with building regulations, health and safety standards, and other legal requirements
  • Creating detailed reports, drawings, and other documentation related to building surveys and projects
  • Conducting site inspections, observing construction processes, and ensuring quality control
