Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team. This role offers hands-on experience in cost management, contract administration, and project delivery, while studying towards a recognised qualification in quantity surveying or construction management.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and tenders
  • Support in monitoring project expenditure and financial performance
  • Help manage subcontractor accounts and valuations
  • Contribute to the preparation of interim and final client applications
  • Assist with the review and negotiation of contracts
  • Attend site visits and progress meetings
  • Learn to interpret drawings and technical specifications
  • Undertake relevant coursework and training modules
