Summary
You'll gain valuable hands-on experience designing, calculating and engineering solutions to real life building services projects. You will work alongside a strong team of engineers and technicians and shall be exposed to all areas of mechanical, public health and electrical building services design.
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Assist senior engineers in producing solutions on a wide variety of projects
Use a range of engineering software packages to aid with the design process
Carry out design calculations
Create strategy drawings and mark-ups
Attend site surveys
Conduct 3D scans of buildings to aid with design

At the end of the apprenticeship you will have a Level 4 qualification afterwhich you will be enrolled on a part-time Building Services degree course
