Summary

You'll gain valuable hands-on experience designing, calculating and engineering solutions to real life building services projects. You will work alongside a strong team of engineers and technicians and shall be exposed to all areas of mechanical, public health and electrical building services design.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

  • Assist senior engineers in producing solutions on a wide variety of projects
  • Use a range of engineering software packages to aid with the design process
  • Carry out design calculations
  • Create strategy drawings and mark-ups
  • Attend site surveys
  • Conduct 3D scans of buildings to aid with design
