Apprentice Land Surveyor

Summary

A career in Geospatial Engineering with a well established Surveying Consultant. A career working in a varied environment e.g. in the office processing in Cad or working outside surveying the terrain. Although based in the East Midlands we undertake surveys nationwide. Our projects involve working with major developers, architects and planners.

Hours
Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.30pm. Office hours (1hr lunch) May work early mornings and overnight stays.
40.0 hours a week

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

  • Land surveying using a Total Station/GPS
  • Processing surveying data
  • Processing using CAD

Desirable qualifications

A Level or equivalent in:

  • Computing (grade A*-C)
  • ICT (grade A*-C)
  • Physics (grade A*-C)
  • Civil Engineering Technician (grade Level 3)
